options for walks in the area with a
choice of midday pub stops to suit
weather and physical condition of
participants.
Thursday 7th
February
- Cutthroat Bridge, Moscar.
An opportunity to further explore the
"new" access land around
Bamford Edge.
Wednesday 19th
March
- Longshaw NT Car Park. A
walk along the edges - White Edge, Baslow
Edge and Froggatt Edge.
Tuesday 15th
April
- Langsett Car Park. An
ascent of Margery Hill (almost the summit
of South Yorkshire).
Thursday 15th
May - Edale.
A walk on Kinder via
Grindslow Knoll.
Wednesday 4th
June -
Tideswell. A walk along
Monk's Dale and Peter's Dale.
Thursday 3rd
July - King's
Tree. A visit to the
"Barnsley Forest" - a shorter
walk with a later start.
